After that amazing book reading session we had month back, we’re always on the lookout for an excuse to invite Dr. Zulfia Shaikh of BBSD (Bangalore School of Speech and Drama) at ILM Montessori.
And this time we found the perfect excuse and a great way to kickstart our week after the Dussehra holidays, by hosting the LAMDA (The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art ) Exams for over 50 students of Bangalore School of Speech and Drama.
Emotions of nervousness, fear, anxiety and stress that usually run high at a regular examination centers were just not to be seen on the faces of these students. “We don’t do nervous”, aptly reads the caption on one of the pictures on BSSD’s Facebook page here.
And why would they be? By participating in the LAMDA exams, that are task based, these students develop the self-confidence and more importantly the ability to understand and grow as individuals exposed to new cultures and perspectives.
